Scudo is your personal tool to see, at a glance, how much you have and how it's changing over time. No account needed: just log your numbers in each section and the app takes care of the rest.
First things first: go to Settings and fill in your personal details (name, investing start date, monthly savings goal and, if you like, a net worth target). These feed the calculations you'll see in the Financial Snapshot.
Tip: you don't need to fill in every section on day one. Scudo works just as well if you start with only the Financial Snapshot and add the rest (dividends, fixed income, metals...) as you need them.
This is your main screen: the balance of everything you own (assets) against what you owe (liabilities), and the resulting net worth. Here you'll also see your progress toward the net worth target set in Settings, your upcoming recurring movements, and financial health warnings (concentration, liquidity, debt) if you've enabled them.
A consolidated view of all your investment assets together: equities, fixed income, metals, alternatives... Useful to see at a glance how your portfolio is allocated and spot if you're too concentrated in a single asset type.
Log your income sources month by month (you can rename each source in Settings, e.g. "Salary" and "Rent"), define your asset allocation strategy, and track your monthly savings goal.
Keep track of your fixed and variable expenses, organized by half-months. You can set up recurring expenses so Scudo automatically reminds you of them in the Financial Snapshot.
Log the dividends and income you receive from your investments. Scudo calculates the yearly total, monthly average, comparison with the previous year, and current yield on cost (YoC). You can also import your history from a CSV or Excel file from your broker, and view the Dividend Map by company and sector.
Monthly tracking for each broker or exchange you invest through: capital contributed, market value, unrealized gains/losses and CAGR. You can add as many brokers as you use and rename them anytime in Settings if you switch brokers — the history is kept.
Government debt, corporate debt and pension plans, with categories and fields adapted to your country. Log your purchases and Scudo calculates current value, accrued interest and total return.
Log your gold and silver purchases (grams, type, premium paid over spot price) and Scudo automatically calculates the updated market value, return and average premium paid, using live pricing.
For anything that doesn't fit the categories above: real estate, art, jewelry, watches or other non-financial assets. Market value is entered manually, since there's no automatic public quote for this kind of asset.
Your data is saved automatically on your device, always including the full history (not just the current year). Scudo also creates an automatic anonymous backup so you don't lose it if you reinstall the app. To move your data to another computer or device, export a copy in Settings → Backup, then import it on the destination.
If you want to see the same data on your computer and your phone, generate a sync code on one device and use it on the other (Settings → Cross-device sync). No account or password needed: only whoever has the exact code can read or write that data.
Scudo is free, with light, unobtrusive ads. If you'd rather go ad-free, Scudo Pro is a one-time purchase that removes them for good and also unlocks cross-device sync and web access.
