Terms of Use

Last updated: August 2, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using Scudo ("the app"), developed by PediCode, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

2. What Scudo is

Scudo is a personal net-worth tracking tool: it lets you record assets, liabilities, expenses, income, and investments, and view summaries, charts, and ratios calculated from the data you enter yourself.

⚠ Important notice: Scudo does NOT provide financial, tax, or legal advice. It is a tracking and organization tool, not an advisory service. No figure, calculation, ratio, or projection shown in the app constitutes an investment recommendation.

3. Detailed financial notice

All information Scudo displays (net worth, returns, ratios, projections, benchmark comparisons, etc.) is calculated solely from data you manually enter or that the app retrieves from public rate sources (exchange rates, metal prices). Scudo does not verify the accuracy of that data and offers no recommendation on what to do with your money.

Any investment, savings, borrowing, or financial planning decision you make is solely your responsibility. We recommend consulting a qualified financial, tax, or legal advisor before making important decisions.

4. Your data and your responsibility

Scudo stores your data locally on your device, with optional backups as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for exporting periodic backups of your data; PediCode cannot recover data lost due to uninstalling the app, switching devices without first syncing or exporting, or device failure.

5. Permitted use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Scudo in accordance with these terms. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, redistribute, or resell the app without express authorization.

6. Intellectual property

Scudo, its name, logo, and design are the property of PediCode. The data you enter remains yours at all times.

7. Limitation of liability

Scudo is provided "as is", with no warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by applicable law, PediCode is not liable for data loss, financial decisions, or any damage arising directly or indirectly from use of the app.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this same page, with the last-updated date shown above.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable law of the developer's jurisdiction of residence, without prejudice to any rights that your own country's consumer protection laws may grant you.
